Jeff,

I tried testing VFPOLEDB v8 with Access and Excel. Excel worked fine for a simple table import, but Access can't load the schema and tells me to repair or reinstall Office. I'll have to work on this some more later. I might restore the v7 test system and try it there.

I'm not a very accomplished Access developer, so I'm not sure it isn't me that is the problem there.

If it doesn't then it's a MS problem and you can report it as bug free of charge. If it does connect, then there's an issue with Crystal, and they are cheaper to deal with.
