Evan
Have you not realised that we supply toy teddies to our children? We are teaching our children that teddies are acceptable, even objects of love and affection. Only a complete ban will break the cycle. Either that or we need to raise the tax on teddies every year so that teddy users contribute more to the real costs of cleaning up after teddy damage.
I must also observe that some of the older, more treasured teddies are the worst. Recently I saw one of them split open; the lint and mess will probably never be completely cleared from that room. This is serious stuff(ing).

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
