Hi Thomas,

Other methods for importing the data do exist (Text/Excel File Generation).
We where just looking for a far less painfull one. :)

>> Excuse me if I seem critical or do not fully understand what you are doing. I have never begun a project with a client that has pre existing data unless I first know I can use or convert that data. Perhaps you have not spent much time with this project so my concerns may not we warranted.

We already found information on where to find the ODBC Drivers. DacEasy uses Btrieve/Pervasive.SQL 7.

>> Apparently, Dac Easy is a series of products according to their web site. I do not know anything about the structure of the data tables. However, as David stated Data Junction is a great product for converting data. It is essentially a data hub – that is you input a type of data and define what form the output will be.

>>Data Junction has a demo program that would allow you to use it at least to some degree.

>> The version of Dac Easy is important to know as I understand from their web site the data structure has changed and they are on version 12 at this time. Data structure may have changed many times for all that I know.

>> You might be able to contact Dac Easy to find out if they have a windows driver for the product you have.

>> Good luck.

>> Tom

Thanks for the input on DataJunction, I'll take a look at it as soon as I can. :)
