J.;

The motivation of the “Peace nicks” of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s was to cause a disruption to Civil Authority to the point of demanding and receiving abuse by the police or military. That was done to “gain publicity and public attention” so the public would have sympathy for the position of the “Peace nicks”.

If you want to put out a fire throwing gasoline on it does not help. In this case launching a Teddy Bear at a person with an automatic weapon leveled at you does not seem like a brilliant idea. Shoot first and ask questions later is a good rule for any military person.

Perhaps the world does not understand the “motivation” of this fellow or he does not understand the world. Both thoughts are correct. I do not think that everyone is ready for a Teddy Bear assault to save the world.
