You can map a drive letter to any directory or subdirectory on your laptop. First, right-click on the directory you want to use. Select share, then select share this folder on the network and give it a share name. Then, select Map Network Drive and connect to the share you just added.
>I am working with some old SBT code which *needs* to have a drive letter to work. IE: In a networked environment all users must map F: to a share on a server.

If I am physically connected to a network I can map to shares on my local hard disk, yielding the F: from the above scenario. However, if I am not actually on a network, the map to my local hard drive fails. Is there any way that I can get the local shares to connect when my laptop is standing alone?
