One thing to check is to make sure you are using only TrueType fonts, and try to stick with the ones that ship with all versions of Windows.

There's no problem except that when I take the finished product and install it on a 98 platform what was precisely in alignment (i.e. buttons, lines, frames, pictureboxes, textboxes with up-down buttons, and especially graphics within pictureboxes & imageboxes) are not in alignment to say the least. Even fonts have grown and/or diminished and add to the non-alignment chaos.
