I am trying to receive data from a panel that is connected to a weighbridge.

when i read from the HyeprTerminal application, i can receive the data, but if i try to retrive the data using the MSCOMM control it does not work, i try sending data from one PC to another and it worked right, i was using a null moden cable.

can somebody tell me why i am not able to read the data. the cables are connecte this way:

Panel PC

Tx---------Rx
Rx---------Tx
GND-------GND
