>Yup.. and when MS added .NET to everything, it caused lots of confusion. Talk to anyone that used Clipper, Summer 87 and ask them about the confusion and problems they had when using a date with the product version. That's one reason the next version of Clipper was 5.0.

I agree, any version that is dated such as Windows '95, for example, provides a bad impression to a user, after a while, as it gives the impression that the product is old and that something newer should be installed.
