>>>>I am currently working on a defence system, a large umbrella combined with a comfort blanket (it's for my Teddy Bear, honest).
>>>
>>>Well I don't know if we'll take kindly to your having such a defense system. We may have to come and get you before you can deploy it.
>>>Unless, of course, you will promise to share it with the rest of the world... well at least those who WE designate as being worthy of such sharing.
>>
>>As long as the sharing involves you standing at a reasonable distance holding the umbrella over me, I think we could work out a deal. In fact, you could be one of many, creating a large umbrella over me, much more effective. Of course, this would mean that you are just outside the shield, and have now made yourself a primary target for removing the shield over me. But you can rest assured that I would probably take action against anyone who attacked you and weakened the umbrella protecting me (er, sorry, us).
>>
>>In order to qualify to join in this special relationship that we would have, you would also have to agree to back me in any decision I make, however questionable. If you could learn to sit up and beg on command, fetch sticks & generally act like a poodle, it would help your case considerably.

>Somehow I feel like I am getting a hint of a political message like the relationship between the “Colonies” and England (my terms). Perhaps I am reading something into your message that is not there but then again based upon my interpretation there is a humorous concept of reality that you have given. Granted my perception may not be correct as reality is a difficult subject.

I'll just say that you are right and avoid any complications relating to my understanding of your interpretation & whether or not our views on reality agree. (I am regularly told that I have a poor grip on reality, anyway)

>By the way could I just be an observer to all this? I promise to leave all my Teddy Bears at home. By the way I know where there is a great Teddy Bear factory in San Francisco. Teddy Bears made to order. How about Teddy Bears with parachutes?
