Most barcode scanners can be configured to send an ENTER at the end of the code. This could make your life a lot easier ...

>Scanning a barcode into a field on a form - the program detects the length of the string in an interactive change and if it reaches a pre-defined barcode length e.g. 10 chars, clicks() the OK button. Without this length check, users have to press after a scan (I suspect this is a fudge - but it works). Well except ... on second a subsequent scans, the first character is cut off the barcode - now why would that be ... ?


If we were to introduce Visual FoxBase+, would we be able to work from the dotNet Prompt?
