Just a reminder that betas usually contain tracking/debugging code. Since it is clear that SQL has been changed significantly in VFP8, I suspect that such stuff may be at play here.

That said, I see you are using FP 2.6 tables. It may be an idea to open a "Bug?..." thread here if only to ensure that such tables are considered by a wide (official) beta population.

In some other thread Sergey mentioned something like "SET DATAENGINE TO 70". You might search for the exact name and then try that.
