We are going to use a Windows 98 machine to test the T-1 Line. If it doesn't fail in the opening of a table up north (Menlo Park, CA), as well as a COPY TO c:\junk TYPE FOX2X, then we'll know that Windows XP has a problem. If it does fail on the WIN98 machine, then we'll know that we have a problem with the NIC(s) or the ROUTER(s), or even possibly the T-1 line itself.
By the way, I am a Houston native, having lived there from 1954 through 1966. My brother still lives there. When I went back after having been gone many eyars, I could not believe how humid it was. I guess that when I was a child, I was not aware fo he humidity then. DId you know that the Astrodome only cost 2 million dollars to build?
