We have an application that opens and closes Word. It usually works just fine, but ocassionaly the system is unable to open Word. When this happens we have noticed that you can look at the task manager and see that Word is NOT an application running, but under the processes we see WINWORD.EXE listed. If we kill that process then the application is able to open word just fine. This happens with most, if not all of our users.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what might stop Word from closing out completely? We're running Office 2000 on a Windows 2000 PC. TIA
