>>I recently transferred everything from my old computer running Win95 to a new one running XP. I discovered that a report crashes with an "operator/operand type mismatch" error. I recopied and compared the report files, they copied fine. Nothing in the data files had changed, and no other reports reading the same data have any trouble. This particular report is the only one I could find that does this. Anybody ever seen anything like this? Thanks!

Well, I ruled out the printer driver -- it crashes no matter which printer I use, even a fax driver. I decided to change "TO PRINTER" to "PREVIEW" in each of the 3 different places (in a form) that it's launched from, and see what happens. And it worked fine, except in the one place I accidentally changed it to "TO PREVIEW" -- it was outputting to a file called PREVIEW.TXT. And it crashed with the same error as before. I made it just "PREVIEW" and that worked too. Another unsolved mystery -- but it works at the client site, that's all that counts! Thanks for your input.
