Hi Dan,

I'm pleased to hear that you've got it working. Regarding the memory leak : I worked on a Doc Management system a while back using the Kodak controls and seem to recall reading in the help file that a variable/handle/pointer (or something) needed to be explicitly released otherwise the memory that is was consuming wouldn't be released. I've only got XP at the moment so I can't check the help files on that subject ('cos XP doesn't have the Kodak controls).

Regards,

Liam

>Thanks for your help Liam! The driver installation did seem to be a problem. I reinstalled everything and now the scan control sees the scanner as it should. I wound up needing to re-register the scan controls as well. I now have VFP talking to the scanner and displaying the image, etc. I still have a few bugs to work out. I'm having a problem that I think is related to a memory leak somewhere. Perhaps, something is not releasing properly. After a handful of scans I get an out of temporary disk space error. I'll keep working at it.
