I guess what I was trying to say was that VFP would not run natively under Linux. I really havn't given much thought to placing a VFP application on a Linux samba file system and running the the app as an application server, but I'm sure your right about it. I usually think in terms of giving each individual client their own application which they can then use to access the data on a samba file system.
