I followed the instruction provided from the below link:

I was able to mount my XP Pro NTFS file system in read only mode. I mounted both drive c: and d: and everything seemed to work. I have not found anything yet that would allow a 2000/XP dual Linux boot to be mounted in a read/write mode (e.g. r/w).
