The CodeMine Online help says:

Child forms share the same data session, cmDataManager, and CDE objects with the parent form. Controls placed in the child behave just as if they were placed directly in the parent. <<

That said... are you wanting to edit Two Different Child Records... or the Same Record in two editing Forms?

Yes it does. The frmDataChildCustom inherits all its DM (or CDE) from the frmDataManagerFormCustom.
