Well, one of our clients require an existing field (Product #) to be of 254 characters. Currently it is 25 characters only and all areas of our code use this field in both one-field and multi-field index tags.
Now if we will extend the size of the field, we either need to change the sytle of the code or somehow support this extension as is.

Hence the problem.
