Another suggestion that I did no see is to use a cursor for the recordsource and then you can zap the cursor and append the data you want ot display.

I didn't get a chance to try this -- I had already created a second form to hold the grid I wanted to display. Thanks for the idea though, I may try to redo this if the secondary form causes any unforeseen issues.
