Hi Randy,

An intranet is generally browser-based. Re-writing an app to be browser-based is not a move that I would take on lightly. I would try to find out what the client's objectives are and see if there is another way to achieve them. If the client is merely looking for remote access there are easier ways to achieve this than re-writing.

If you do need to re-write the app, there are a number of tools available to you. As Al Doman mentioned, WebConnect and ActiveVFP are good tools if you want to continue the development in VFP. PHP is a great (free) scripting language which can be used on a Linux or Windows server. You could also turn this challenge into an opportunity to get to grips with ASP.NET.

Regards,

Liam
