I have noticed that with files where I re-cycle deleted records and re-use them for new data the CDX does in fact "bloat". If I re-create the indexes then the CDX file reduces in size. The amount of reduction is dependent on how many records have been re-cycled since the last time I did a reindex. VFP7 SP1.
