I didn't try this with XP, but you can try this as an alternative.

Create your text document, including some printing codes (bold, etc.; see the printer manual), load the text to memory (FileToStr() function), and send it to the printer with "???". This should bypass formatting done by the printer driver.

UPDATE: Sorry, I just noticed the "FoxPro 2.x" part. FileToStr() isn't available as a built-in function, but you may get an emulation from the download section. Or construct the entire file directly in memory. Or use low-level file functions.
