Tracy,
Understood. I have no problem with those who wish to have a drink with dinner, though I personally son't. You sort of make my point though.. In my thinking this is all about where or what levels laws should 'intrude' or be balanced with personal choice.
>But what about those countries that still sip wine with meals? Also there has been some proven health benefits to regular small amounts of certain alcohols...

>>Hi Sylvain,
>>
>>Well, you can find the statistical sources just as easily as I can so I'll leave that part to you. Alcohol has damaged more people that smoking ever has. Even one drink has been proven to reduce one's capabilities.
>>
>>
>>>Where did you took your statistics? How will it affect me if the guy next to me take a beer?
>>>
>>>Now if the threat comes from drunk individuals, that's another matter. It's not the alcool that is the problem, it's the person who drink too much that is the problem. Otherwise, it would come the same as saying that it's the gun that kill the man, not the one who pulled the trigger...
>>>
>>>>Drinkers, statistically, threaten the lives of far more people than smokers do.
Best,

A man is no fool who gives up that which he cannot keep for that which he cannot lose.
Everything I don't understand must be easy!
The difficulty of any task is measured by the capacity of the agent performing the work.
