This looks like the ticket. I did not mention that what I need is a conversion routine that may be run on literally hundreds of different computers. I need this to be a solution that can be downloaded on the clients computer and auto run to bring up a screen where the user choses only to 'Go' or 'Not Go' - my clients are basically computer illiterate and if I give them choices or they have to locate data locations I am going to be in big trouble. I have not used ole db before but I seem to remember that it depends on something being installed on the users computer. Can this installation be done programatically?
