Hi,

i am using Oracle 8.0.3.0.0 as a back-end for my VB application. In that i wanted to store a amount which is about 13 digits. I have created a field with NUMBER data type, but i am not able to store more than 9 digits. If i am trying to insert more than 9 digits then it goes to exponantial.

how can i store the amount which is greater than 9 digits????
