has anybody ever used the pdqcomm32.ocx (Version 3.4) in an VFP app.
My problem is that everything works fine until I try to run the app
on Windows XP. What happens there is, that after the com-port is opended once, it can not be closed anymore and causes the app to hang without any error-message. I reduced my tests to the simplest form and found out that
everythng works until it comes to closing the port, even just opening and then closing the port causes the error. And this happens just on Windows XP (Home Edition). Using the MSCOMM32.OCX works, but this control misses features pdqcom has.
