>AFAIK, there was a probblem since FPW with combos returning numerical values. The thing was that the combo returned not the value of the selected row but the index of the selected element. Since that i try not to use numerical values with combos, but i don't know if this prob. is solved in recent versions of VFP.

FYI, numeric values still work the same way in VFP 3.0b. I believe it is by design. There are fairly easy ways around it (there have been several articles written on this "problem" here and there). I can post more info if anyone is interested.
