I am offering an option to create a link to record specific data in a popup menu. Just before the ACTIVATE POPUP command, I DEFINE the bar again to dynamically specify the option on the menu.

Is this okay? I am deactivating the popup - but not releasing it. Is there a better way to dynamically embed strings in the bar of a popup without pushing the entire DEFINE BAR statement again?
