Christof Lange pointed to the URL

http://groups.google.com/groups?q=VMWare+solved&hl=de&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&selm=17775718.0110070838.418f881c%40posting.google.com&rnum=1

in a CompuServe post. This URL claims to fix the VFP crash under VMware. A little scary as this post wants us to patch VFP.

After I posted my query this morning I looked at a Win XP book and saw that Win XP can be installed as an upgrade to Win 98. This solves my Win 98 problem. I still have a problem with Win 2K Server and Linux. They are less pressing so a dual boot would work here. If VMware works well, it is a better solution.

Thanks.
