I am utilizing AmyUni's PDF Creator as an ActiveX control and it is hosted on a Form at design time via drag and drop. When my form's INIT() fires, I call the PDF creator's Open() method passing it a fully qualified path and PDF filename. Other than the height and width and FitToParent properties, I have changed no properties from their default value.
The frx file that I convert, using AmyUni's PDF Converter, uses an Arial, 8 point font and contains a bitmap image. In this particular situation my report is yielding upwards of 1750 pages. AmyUni's PDF converter handles this just fine albeit a little sluggish (probably my bad), but when I attempt to view the generated PDF document with AmyUni's PDF Creator, my system grinds to a halt. If I wait long enough before shutting down my app I will eventually be informed by the operating system that I am running out of virtual memory.
However, I can perform the same conversion and view the results with Adobe's Acrobat Viewer and the PDF file launches quite nicely.
I wonder if anyone has had experience with this symptom and can shed any light on my dilema.

i am only worried in the short term. once there is a problem, the solution usually presents itself.
