Hey folks,

United Airlines almost lost the PortaBar! Sad but true. I was using it to transport my kids' presents to South Florida on the 23rd. It arrived on a later flight then I did. United logged it in and gave it to a courier service for delivery to me and they lost it.

I was on the phone screaming or at the airport screaming from 10PM the 23rd to 6PM the 24th to recover it. I have a feeling if I was not so "in your face" with them, it would have been lost forever. I suspect attempted foul play on the part of the courier service - I'll leave their name out of it for now but suffice to say that written allegations are being filed.

The immediate crisis has passed now. The PortaBar is back in safe hands. Whew.
