sometimes its really hard to findout the exact and practical practises, if i go for a browser based appl, it would be needing a central server for report. crystal reports has its central solution as enterprise edition which is tooooo costly. I'm really not able to find any alternate.
I really wonder ppl who develop good multi tier appl have less exposure to the report tier. I really can not club my reports into executable, it has to be an independent tier. how do experts provide the reporting solutions ????? any idea...
