Hi Esteban!
Structure of dbf files is well decribed in VFP help. It seems to be quite simple to a write a string to dbf file because you can easly compute position of a field in the file. But remmeber that you can also update index file. It make the work not as easy as it look at first sight.
Maybe you should look for commercial products that can help you make the job
For example
www.codebase.com may help you probably
