Hi Dorris,

I agree with everyone else that has commented so far: get that information on to Ken Levy as soon as possible so he can continue on with his efforts to 'educate from within.'

Our company is going to Microsoft's TS2 seminar on .NET in Sumter, South Carolina January 14th and I'm hoping that they will either not mention VFP at all or at least mention it as a good tool for use in the .NET world (the latter is preferable of course). Since the decision makers are going with me, and we currently do our development in Delphi and VFP, it would be great to see VFP supported for those tasks it is best suited for and not left out of the loop completely. Otherwise, we may return using only Delphi or Delphi and .NET but no longer VFP. Either way, MSFT and us would lose out without VFP.

In this training class he was informed by the trainer that VFP will no longer be supported by Microsoft and version 7.0 will be the last version of VFP. The gentleman attending this training also said that there was no Microsoft Rep in the class but. according to the reminder he was sent on the class date, there was supposed to be a Microsoft Rep in attendance.
