>What I'm trying to do is generate graphs to print on a report. The only way I've managed to do this is to dump the data out to Excel, create the chart and APPEND GENERAL into a table used in a VFP application. However, I'm having a few problems. The first is having the data labels appear at the top of the column. The second is formatting the date to appear as MM/DD/YYYY (currently displayed as DD-MON-YY). The third is standardizing the Z-Axis Scale to have for example a maximum value of 100 and incremented by 10. I can manipulate this correctly through Excel but I need a way to do it programmatically using VFP. The maximum value I am currently getting is the largest number in the data series. Since this number will vary for the graphs I'm generating, I would like to have all 3 graphs I display on a report have the same maximum value.

Controlling Excel from VFP programmatically is called Automation. If you are new to this, you may want to read my introductory article at http://www.levelextreme.com/Magazine/September2002/Page45.asp.
