The implication, I presume, was that this guy who makes bikes is going to use web services to get his parts, instead of picking up the phone and calling his buddy, or picking through the junk yard. Right. If there is a single such establishment on earth, I'd be very surprised. Does this idea carry over to other small businesses, too?
I could imagine building a campaign for VFP around the fact that it is not .NET, but I'd rather it were the other way around. It's a lot harder to envision a VFP marketing effort based on the present nebulous relationship. How about "VFP - to be or not to be, is not .NET, nyet?"
