Riding bicycles is required to be 'with traffic' or on the right - as well as mopeds, etc. However, in some states in the U.S. it is a requirement to walk 'facing traffic' or on the left side of the road in other words. However, people generally seem to walk where-ever they want to even if that means down the middle of the road in this country! (However, when on a path or sidewalk or in a mall, etc. you are supposed to 'keep to the right' of the path itself so you don't bump into those walking towards you!)

>>Sorry just a poke at the Brits. Here is why people drive on the right (and left) sides of the road.
