I don't necessarily agree with that assessment.

I sure wish that was mandatory that they revealed where they got your email from. But that would be quite burdensome and would never fly. I'd really like to know why spammers or ISPs, for that matter, think it's perfectly legit to send out millions of emails. But what I'd really like to see is a truly opt-in only email list and if you're not on it, you don't receive anything. Don't think there's a DB in the world that could support all the people wanting to be on that list though < BG >.
