Ok... here is the deal - and its wierd for sure.

If in the upDateEFA() I ONLY change the T to a F or vice versa, and make NO other changes, that form is not reflected as being changed upon rebuilding the app.

However, if I make any other change in that method, all is OK. So, it seems like it doesn't like me just changing one character.
