BTW, I had change to using the OPOS driver with my Star printer insteads of the Star ActiveX control.

After successfully open, claim and enableDevice my
printer and other checking.

When I EnabledDevice = .F., before closing and releasing the printer,
my Win2k system will had the hour glass appearing, making my application seem like halt and finally give some illegal operation message.

Do you encountered such problem in VFP6, please kindly advise
whether I miss any setting. Thank you
