As far as I am concerned, ANY unsolicited email sent to a group mailing list is spam. However, in this case my email setting was set to allow Michael to sell my address, so I reset my email setting and called it good, nuff said except this...

I take great care to keep my personal mailbox free of crap I am not interested in. If I wanted to go to a conference I could find and choose on my own without someone sticking thier commercial foot in my door. Additionally, I personally feel that "unsubscribe" is a falacy.
