Thanks for your kind words -- they are truly appreciated. And while we're passing out "niceties" just want to say also, that I appreciate everyone's concerns (at least those who've voiced an opinion on this thread) and that I think the tone of this has generally been pretty civil. Thanks for that -- we suffered some pretty heavy abuse in the past including obscene emails, phone calls, and worse. And, frankly, impugning the integrity or intelligence of someone who disagrees serves no useful purpose anyway.

I already tried to justify our position in an earlier post and won't waste your bandwidth with that all over again. I will, however, suggest that we'll make every attempt to honor your wishes (if we know about them) regarding our mail list -- please let us know if you don't (or if you do) want to be on our list. (And, no, we don't use this as a mechanism to validate your email address. Can you imagine what this thread would look like if we made a habit of that?!) The Fox community is way too small for us to not attempt to be "good citizens."
