You can usually "select" a displayed/printed "table", copy it, and then paste it into an open Excel Worksheet. Excel is (usually) smart enough to interpret rows and columns. If you are also copying headings, there may be some tweeking involved, but I think Excel will prompt you along.

You can even select, copy and paste a table from a "live" Web Page into Excel.
