As far as taking stills of a screen I would think copyprotecting would stop me from being able to do that.

Anyway, I have not a clue as to what is the best thing to do. I have a bunch of VHS tapes I'm wanting to put onto DVD. I can't even get Movie Studio 5 to run on my Pent III.

>>Some notes on taking photos of a TV:
>>Pause the DVD
>>Turn off all lights so there is no glare.
>>Use a tripod and use very slow shutter speeds.
>>You may even have to lower the brightness of your TV to not over expose.

>>A fast shutter speed can cause you to get a shot of a partialy black screen with only a partial refresh of the screen. Chances are that at any speed you will photograph part of one of the TV's screen refreshes, but the longer shutter speed will get you more refreshes, so the difference is not as obvious. That's not the best explaination. Let me know if you have ???
