What leads you to the conclusion that the update is not succeeding? What is clinic, a table? a local view? a remote view?

Clinic is a table. The load event of the form populates the text controls on the form with a Select statement that gets the data from the Clinic table and stores it in a cursor.

There is only one record in the clinic table, therefore not sure where I even need a "Where" condition.

And like Al suggested, I don;t even have a primary key in the table because the clinic numbers are hardcoded when the install disk is being produced.
