Since the messages appear inside their own frame in the browser why can't you allow BLOCKQUOTE, TABLE (all the restricted tags) inside a message? The effects of a unclosed tag are restricted to that single message and now that we can preview and edit messages to fix a post I don't see why there still these restrictions.

I'll reference a post that Sergey ? made tonight in the VFP section quoting another article. He used a PRE tag which caused all of the text to horizontally spread out. If he could have used a BLOCKQUOTE the quoted text could be better offset from the rest of his message.
