You can uncheck that checkbox if you don't want page # to be reset.

The report has page header, page title, group header (lcl_doc_nm) and group footer (lcl_doc_nm)and page footer wher the field holding the page number is. In the group header, I have the doctors name and his number which is the lcl_doc_nm.
