I got it to work the way you first specified by using the format
{01/01/2002 00:00:00} for the startdatetime
and
{01/31/2002 00:00:00} for the enddatetime for the EXAMPLE part of the Remote View...
I will certainly KEEP your replies in my printouts!!!
