yes you can:

- make sure you got the 'MS Date and Time picker' in your ActiveX Object list
- go into edit on the grid
- select the column you whish to add the control
- select the date/time picker from the forms control activex
- drop it in the desired column
- in the column.CurrentControl property select the newly added activex

and ofcourse set your table and column data properties and this should work.
